Dear Parents,
We had another fun-filled week learning about holidays celebrated around the world! We learned about La Befana in Italy and played Dreidel games to celebrate Hanukkah. Next week, we will learn about Kwanzaa, the Chinese New Year, Ramadan, and Las Posadas. In math, we continued to count and learned several strategies that help us with 1:1 correspondence. We have practiced with "touch and count, "mark and count" and "scoot and count" methods!
Next week is the last week of school for 2023! Attached is a fun school dress up schedule for each day of the week. We will have our class party with Mrs. Smith's kindergarten class on Thursday afternoon. I will take many pictures to share with you! Students return to school on January 3.
Progress Reports for students' IEPs and Georgia Early Learning Development Standards will be sent home mid-January. As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Have a fantastic weekend,
Traci
